This Periodic Table Mug is our colorful ode to Mendeleev, who claimed to have envisioned the complete arrangement of the elements in a dream. A stylish chemistry gift for scientists, researchers, students, and other science geeks.

For each element we include the atomic number, chemical symbol, and atomic weight (or mass number when this is unavailable). Due to the limited space on the mug, we omitted full element names as they didn’t print clearly. Atomic weights are taken from the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), as of February 2020.

Kids Moon Landing Backpack

Feel inspired by humankind with this Moon Landing Backpack. The bottom features a photo of Edwin (Buzz) Aldrin walking on the lunar surface during the Apollo 11 moon landing mission in 1969; Neil Armstrong, who took the photograph, can be seen reflected in Aldrin’s helmet visor. The top quotes the lunar plaque that was left on the moon by Apollo 11: “HERE MEN FROM THE PLANET EARTH FIRST SET FOOT UPON THE MOON JULY 1969, A.D. WE CAME IN PEACE FOR ALL MANKIND”

For even more geekery, read on about how the Futura font used on that lunar plaque made its way to the moon as part of NASA’s design image (Magenta). (And yes, of course we used this font on the backpack!)
